CPR has conducted numerous studies related to child abuse and neglect.  Many of these studies have looked at innovative practices in the investigation and treatment of abuse and neglect cases in human services agencies and the courts.  CPR has conducted evaluations of 12 programs to mediate child maltreatment cases, as well as studies of Family Group Conferencing, joint investigations by police and child protection agencies, and the general processing of abuse and neglect cases.  CPR conducted the largest national study to date on the extent, nature, and validity of sexual abuse allegations arising in the context of a custody or child access dispute.
