CPR
conducted the National Violence Against Women Survey in which national
probability samples of 8,000 women and 8,000 men were asked about their
experiences with all forms of violence - physical, sexual, threats of
violence, and stalking - over the lifespan. In addition, CPR has
completed numerous studies of child abuse and neglect (see Child
Abuse and Neglect). CPR has also conducted numerous studies on
specific topics related to intimate partner violence, including research
relating IPV to women's requests for exemptions to child support requirements,
approaches to providing serves to victims of IPV in social service agencies,
and approaches to be used when mediating with couples for whom IPV is a
concern.
